DALE MUSIC STORE
Located in Silver Spring Dale is your one stop music store.  One can buy or rent almost any band or orchestral instrument.  They have one of the biggest selections of sheet music and music books. Plus lots of knick knacks and other things for great gifts.

HOUSE OF MUSICAL TRADITIONS
H.M.T. is an excellent store for instruments from all around the world. They are located in Takoma Park Md. They have a nice selection of fine acoustic guitars and many other folk instruments.  The management is fairly lad back  about people trying things out. Don’t forget to check out their record section.

MIDDLE C
This store is fairly new and kind of a light weight, but it is at a great location: one block north of the Tenleytown Metro.  They have a nice selection of gifts, some sheet music, reeds, strings, books, and they offer lessons.

CHECK LEVINS A.K.A. WASHINGTON MUSIC CENTER
This place is a heavy hitter when in comes to electronic rock and roll stuff.  It’s also a great place to get band instruments and percussion equipment. The place is a zoo, but they have the best prices around.  They also have keyboards, recording equipment,  lighting equipment and much more.
